Busy day indeed.

another week ahead

February 18, 2008 By: deeva58 Category: Homemaking, My Internet Business No Comments →

So this weekend I got around to sorting mail and cleaning the bathrooms and ktchen.

I didn’t clean my office although I brought the duster and wax in…but didn’t do a thing.

I sort of got stuck at the PC, reviewing bills that needed to be paid…

Truthfully that was a bit depressing, but God is always good.  Thankfully, I landed a client this month and was able to take care of one of the bills that way.

Five more clients would give me the income I need to take care of some things for a few months.
Again, gotta trust GOd on that one.

So, I put up a web page for PinkPods…

I wasn’t sure if I should go with my domain CoachPods, since my target market is the lifecoach with web media/technology needs…but we’ll see.

I’m up bright and early this morning…it’s about 5:24 a.m.  Baby Zoe is in my room catching her snoozes until the next feeding.  Hubby’s fast asleep but will soon be up to get read for work.   Little Nyomi is in her room sleeping away until we wake up for school.  And me…I’m just sitting up in bed typing away on my laptop because my mental clock has been programmed to operate on little sleep now that thei baby is here.

This week I plan to:

  • enter some family financial info into Quicken
  • organize Nyomi’s homeschool classroom and upload photos to the blog
  • get Nyomi’s new science and history text books in the mail from Amazon and begin her 1st grade track for homeschooling (I am SOOO excited about this!)
  • Finish making my “homemaking binder” which I’d begun a month ago — it has all my info about what my makes my life tick and how to keep things organized and clean.  Okay, I’m a clean freak and a bit of an organization nut (when I actually have the time to be nutty about it).  I breathe and live better with organization and even go so far as to keep a binder with organization tips so I can stay on top of things…more about that later.  I’ll have to devote a whole post to that sometime.
  • Wash my hair twist it with Carol’s Daughter hair butters
  • Update my WAHMUniversity blogcast
  • Break apart my INternet Radio Podcast Bootcamp Video CD course into small segments to resell

This biggest thing I want to do this week is mainly to stay focused on God’s will for me and my family.  I want to be consistent in my prayer life–keeping the Lord the center of my life.

I’ve GOT to.  He’s my only source of strength and vision and purpose.

Tomorrow’s plans

Valentine’s was really special…then on today my daughter had her homeschool co-op’s Valentines party.

Now it’s the end of the 15th, and I feel that the Valentine’s “season” is officially over, but love is still in the air!

Anyways…I’ve got major plans for the weekend. Plans to stay in for once and get some “home” stuff done. Stuff that I should have gotten done long ago…and it’s hard to believe that I although I work from home and am officially a stay at home mom, that I don’t spend as much time at home as I ought to…

The problem is, I just love being out and about so much. I’m an outdoorsy kinda gal, and just being trapped inside all day doesn’t set well with me. I’ve got to get some fresh air, take a walk, SoMEThING!

So, I’m going to spend the weekend catching up on things that I’ve let go of –

Tomorrow I plan to:

  • finish up some podcast consulting work for a client: http://charactermakeover.blogspot.com/
  • organize my daughter’s home classroom and plan for her semester’s classes as we wait on her new science and history books to come in mail next week
  • read more from The Well-Trained Mind: A Guide To Classical Education at Home by Susan Wise Bauer and Jessie Wise
  • clean the kitchen, bathrooms, and my office
  • Scan copies of pages I need from my library books that are due soon
  • Add more cool techie widgets to my blogs
  • Spend lots of time with family, kick back, and enjoy the day!
